Using noise and filters create sound compositions
Fiddling with filters
I used Pure Data to listen to a couple of sources, and performed an FFT
-> Pitch analysis on them (fiddle~).
These resulting pitches (cooked and uncooked) were then used as the mid point for a band pass filter (actually VFT) with a large Q (120).
- 1 Dark Side of the moon, uncooked data
- 2 Dark Side of the moon, cooked data
- 3 Bicycle for two, both uncooked and cooked
- 4 Human voice, both uncooked and cooked
